Too much water on the pitch before the game, in a “soccer” game they do it to make the ball zip across the grass.

See watching Hurts just pisses me off. God forbid you tackle his ass when he slides 6 plays earlier but then he decides to dive headfirst for a first down later and what can you do. Is he gonna slide or dive power forward. Make the wrong decision and it's a major penalty.
Lord, couldn't even throw it down the field to make it interesting.
