Yeah. This is no play off team. This is a championship offense and a pee wee defense. 4 wins is all they get this year.
This defensive scheme just isn’t conducive to stopping NFL offenses. You just can’t sit back in Nickel and never get any sort of pass rush. The d-line and 2 linebackers just aren’t anywhere near good enough. Lou has to go…you can’t be a contender if your defense can’t get off the field and gives up points nearly every drive.
Make Lou walk home. Then fire him.
Time to get a score before and after half.
Defense as a whole is garbage nobody besides Logan Wilson can tackle.
If this continues it wont even matter if the offense is historically efficient. We arent gonna have the ball long enough to even score.

The secondary is dreadful.... I dont think there is nothing Lou can do about that without replacing them.... just needs replacing.

Some of this is in these veteran players forgetting how to tackle. How does that even happen?
This is the “easy” part of the schedule. It’s just going to get worse from here on out.
And with Tee leaving this team is going to have some offensive needs, too. They have to take defense early and often and hope they actually land a decent player.
