He basically just iced his own kicker. That's how I saw it.

He said they had to because a player was in who had previously reported as eligible. Or something like that to stay in the game. The previous 3 plays was his real mistake.

At least go with he iced his Long Snapper or holder. 

WTS, I didn't watch the 4th qrt/OT I listened on WLW. Has the kicking team lined up ready to kick and he called it late or did he call it early in the process?

Lapham said clock was running down, better use the Timeout than add 5 yards to that kick

I think they were on the field lining up. But my memory might be off.

The way he called the 4th quarter/OT yesterday told you everything you needed to know about where the Bengals are heading.

Any other team bar the Panthers would be doing everything they could to maximise their SB window with the weapons we have.

For what it’s worth, there’s no evidence that icing the kicker actually works. Kickers have roughly the same make rate whether they are iced or not.

I think half of them don't, and the other half don't understand what they are watching and just like to complain about the coach.
