It’s actually a calf injury for Orlando, not a knee per James Rapien.

Tricky calf’s. But other good injury update nonetheless..

Good news on Geno Stone and him finally getting his first Bengal INT and hope it keeps raining now...
Also, happy that Orlando is okay and Cody Ford played and did well against Myles, but have to ask this....
Is Myles Garrett's feet screwed up and it is he is in a rough spot more than Cody Ford playing well?

Miles is definitely playing hobbled, but Ford was good last week as well

Ford played a total of 1 snap on offense and 3 on special teams last week.

Agree that Ford played well last week. Just need to watch this last game as Gamepass has it all glitchy as hell right now.
I don't like watching glitchy.

Until they are fused together. Depending on how they do it, you end up with either a tibula or a fibia.

X rays were negative on Geno stone.

Were they looking for a tackling gene?

Happy Geno is ok but ill be interested to see how Tycen Anderson or perhaps another FS plays in his potential absence next week. Hes been flat out bad most of the year but its very possible he's still our best option. Battle needs more PT as well but hes not a FS.

#Bengals LT Orlando Brown Jr suffered a calf strain, sources say, more specifically a condition called, "Tennis leg" (commonly occurring in tennis players).
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 21, 2024
He's having testing done to determine the severity, but coach Zac Taylor was optimistic post-game about his prospects.

Don't like them strained calfs.

I looked up "tennis leg," hoping it was just like a cramp or something minor, but it's actually a tear of the tendon and muscle and will take some time to heal:
" tear of the medial head of the gastrocnemius–or the calf muscle. It actually involves a tear of the tendon and muscle portion of your calf. Tennis leg is not an injury that should require surgery–whether exploratory or for repair. In fact, if the injury is properly treated you’ll eventually be able to return to active play within four to six weeks."

Why you gotta bring that up? You're making me tear up because of the "what ifs". Braham going down sent our O-line into tailspin that we haven't recovered from. 05 was the 2nd best O-line we ever had.

Geno Stone says it is his shin. It hurts…a lot but that he has played through worse the aircast was placed on the leg because when it happened he wouldn’t let the trainers touch it due to the pain
His availability will come down to pain management

Never recovered from?
From '12-'15, he had a top 3 OL in the league.
