Mims a doing great, but Garrett is playing with his feet and legs all F'd up. This may be his last year.

My favorite pick since Chase in the first round. Amarius Mims is not only extremely talented and gifted as a giant athlete but he is very smart
and a very likable person. Best OL pick we have had in the first since Munoz IMO.

His last year? I haven't heard anything like that...

I have heard things about Garrett's feet, we will see. I didn't get to watch the game yet and see what's up...
It all starts from the feet up.

One of the Announcers shared both of his (Garrett’s) feet and his one thigh have all been messed up for all but 2 games this season and that one of the reasons he was playing thru these was to inspire his teammates. He also said it didn’t work lol.
Mims is a keeper for sure.

Amarius Mims had a 76.1 pass blocking grade in the first half, per PFF.

This would be his highest pass blocking grade of the season, and he is seeing a lot of Myles Garrett.
After a slow ramp up, this is typically when you see rookie OTs hit their stride. Exciting for Mims.
Need to see how he graded out in the 2nd half, but i certainly didn’t notice him at all.

Nice !!

I’m curious how many reps he actually got against him in true pass sets. I saw him rushing from the other side quite a lot.

I'm excited to see his PFF grade, because I didn't notice Mims a single time today, which is a great sign for an offensive tackle.

We’ve been accustomed to o line busts lately. He’s playing pretty good, but he’s not on the level Willie Anderson was as a rookie. Hopefully he can have a similar career to Willie.

Willie played LT as a rookie and wasn't nearly the player he was at RT.

There was a hiccup or two but Mims he didn't Jonah it out there yesterday.

In the PFF thread, it shows Mims ended with a 52.5 pass blocking grade, so if it was 76.1 in the first half, I have to assume it nosedived in the 2nd half.

Give him time, Mims could be as good as Willie and I am not kidding.

It's great Mims might be starting to hit his stride, as he's needed severely with Trent Brown being out for the year.
If OBJ also has to miss time though, that's one big concern on whatever side Mims is not on.
There's still some older proven veterans out there without a contract that might be willing to come on board for half a year in hopes to get into the playoffs.

Hopefully the Bengals don't just play the "Well, we'll see how these next few games go. If we have a winning record by then, we'll add someone. If we don't, don't waste the $$" card.

After seeing that list, these are some older guys and I doubt they have kept in football shape. Probably not much, if any upgrade over Ford. Not saying Ford is great either.

DJ Humphries might be a good grab if OBJ misses time. No to Leno and Bakhtiari though for penalty and glass reasons.
