Burton definitely had red flags going into draft so don't know why Bengals thought they could change him. That being said, dude better grow up fast or he won't last in the league.

The Burrow to TB/Higgins/Chase trio didn't last long. It's now consistently just Burrow to Chase/Below average players. Tee is great, but can't stay on the field enough.

I think they thought putting him in our WR room, where there are good role models throughout, would help him. Obviously he is just a bone head. He did not even look embarrassed on the sideline today.

He doesn't have to be a leader type in this scenario. There's not a WR in that room not named Burton who is not putting in the work. While I'm still peeved at Chase for his hold in, there is no doubt that on game 1 he was in shape and ready to go
