Portabella's
1 stick of butter
1 pack of ranch seasoning
1\2 cup water

Put in crockpot
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top

let cook on low for about 4 hours

Awesome

I have a friend that drinks the juice after all the mushrooms are gone
i was gonna say you not suppose to cook the mushrooms... but wrong type

In all seriousness, I use a little red vino, garlic, butter, onions, a little worcestershire, a tad Allegro hickory, Tony Chachere, salt & pepper to taste, and sautee mine up like that.  Excellent with steak.
