Another mock and another direction in this one. I went with Loveland in round 1. He's a fluid athlete and tremendous receiving talent who can immediately take over Gesicki 's role while he puts on more bulk to to help his inline blocking game. Princely is a hyper athletic pass rusher with great bend that's bulked up for the Senior Bowl. In the 3rd, I gambled a bit on the talented Collins, another guy in this class with NT size and 3 tech athletic ability. Stewart is undersized, but brings the juice off the edge and should slot on well as a rotational pass rusher. Giddons has incredible vision, but lacks true breakaway speed causing him to slip to Day 3. Nash has a former QB pedigree and displays a great feel for zone coverage combined with with plus athleticism.
Great Draft!! My only question is whether replacing Loveland with an elite OG/OT prospect make it better? IMO yes.

Problem is, there aren't really any elite T/G prospects in this draft class.  Really, it's a bad class for OL all around.  There will be some guys that would be Day 2 guys in a typical class that go in Round 1, but I chose not to reach.  Anyone in particular you had in mind?

Idk, I think that the Bengals would be better off with any of the top 5 guards in this class, though I do favor Ratledge and Kandra.

I mean, good odds they would be some kind of upgrade over Cappa or Volson...but not worth a 1st imo.

Right, not a 1st round pick, that player needs to be a difference maker.
Josaiah Stewart would be an awesome get in the 4th as a designated pass rusher.

I would assume OP planned to address OL in FA.

I had previously been mocking him in my own when I thought he would be available in Rd 4, but I had started seeing him climb in some prospect rankings so I stopped mocking him due to focusing on other needs.

I agree though, if he's available in Rd 4, good get as a situational pass rusher.
