I means you have to have a slight edge to seeing the eagles win. I know I said I had no rooting interest, but I am pulling for an eagles W, where they just control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Barkley has a game and is Super Bowl MVP. I really think that he should have played the last game to break the all time record and get MvP. It would have a lot more merit to a HOf career. His injuries, and playing for a bad team for 6 years, have him behind the 8 ball at this point. At least a Super Bowl win and SB MVP would be worth not getting the all time record.

I was just thinking about that last night and trying to think why he wouldn't go for it.

Was he thinking "I don't want to look like I'm going to personal awards over team goals"?

I think the Eagles are not only going to win, I think they are going to win big.

I told my wife 2 weeks ago that i wasn't going to be watching the SB. I have no interest in watching the Chiefs win another ring, in the same way i was sick and tired of watching NE do it over and over. Also, the thought of Philly winning a 2nd title in such a short time, with the absoulte worst, dispicable fan base in the world, along with their douchebag HC, wasn't a really good alternative. 

A couple days after my proclamation, my wife asked if we could watch the commercials, because that's all she really cares about. Since it's impossible to do that, i have no choice but to watch the game...

Record the Super Bowl and then fast forward through the game to the commercials.  If you do that immediately after the game is over it will probably only take you and hour and half to watch all the commercials and you can be in bed before midnight.  :)

The Bills would of won pretty easily if they just kept running the ball with James Cook. While I think Cook is a damn good RB, he ain't no Saquon.

The Eagles don't go away from the running game if it is working. I think the same and sure hope we are both correct.

My wife read or plays computer games until commercials come on. Then she is 100% watching.

LOL! Same here. She plays games on her phone. She does it while the UK basketball games are on too because it makes her too nervous to watch live. If she hears something good, she'll look up.

Lol... for a bunch that are likely considered die-hards since we are relics on a message board. The very notion of not watching the Super Bowl is a little amusing.

I may watch till halftime if I watch at all. I made some bets on the game and TBH, I would like to see Barkley do great, but other than that, screw it. I will check the news in the morning and see if Philadelphia or KC was burned to the ground after the game.

Yeah, as others have pointed out you have a team that built the trenches and RUNS DA BAWLLL, which is pretty much what every NFL fan cries about wanting to see and yet no one is going to watch the very real chance the d-line kills Mahommes and Barkley runs all over them like Jim Brown and makes Taylor Swift cry because "it's totally rigged for the Chiefs."

I get it, everyone is sick of the Chiefs and apparently people from Philly are so worthy of scorn seeing a team that was built well isn't worth the trouble but lordy I could come up with a reason to hate any and every NFL at that rate.  


Ah well, maybe we can petition the NFL to let teams that lose in the playoffs play the SB instead.
