Yeah and Grizzly Adams had a beard!

After having some time to dwell upon the subject, I'm not so sure that Sam Hubbard would be on the Bengals chopping block. Aside from being a decent DE until accumulated injuries have caught up with him, Sam is also a fiery leader of the team and a model citizen. I feel like the team will by sympathetic to his situation and offer him to restructure and stay on to see if he can bounce back.
Besides that, the team wasted, err I mean invested a 1st round pick in Myles Murphy to be the heir apparent to Hubbard. I predict that with Murphy heading into his 3rd season, the management will want to see him in the starting role to begin the season, as they will have to make a decision upon his 5th year option at the conclusion of next season. They will likely view keeping Hubbard around as insurance in case Murphy can't cut the mustard. And let's face it, they're not going to find better than Hubbard for his salary or less, and they likely don't want to bring in a guy that would likely beat out Murphy as the starter from the jump.

I'd say unless he just can't get back in the saddle at all they'll keep him. Probably just cut his salary down.
Cappa I'd say is next most likely to be cut then Stone and Moss. My main focus I want to see for next season is retooled O and D lines. To me that's been our biggest downfall.

He is currently the 12th highest paid RG in the NFL at AAV of 8,750,000
The 17th highest paid is 4,000,000 in AAV, 16th is 4,500,000.
I know the metrics were horrid last year, but unless you have a clear upgrade, I’d rather the continuity to start and maybe he is beat out in camp, and cut later. New OL coach might be able to get him back to average, hence the dock in pay.

BJ Hill last season so he was an easy cut. With Cappa I guess we have Ford but he is a backup at best, same with Volson. With Stone we
have Daijahn Anthony and maybe Tycen Anderson who could play FS, but that is about it. Jordan Battle is a SS.
Now with Moss, we need to bring back Khalil Herbert and then we could cut ties.
