At least they’re working on the weekend…I guess.
Very good move...
Whelp that was our 1 move for the day.... try again tomorrow morning.

*I do like bringing Cody back*
Bringing Cody Ford back was a very smart move. He showed that he could and can cover Guard or Tackle if needed. I actually am very comfortable with him being our first off the bench at either position.
Always good to have some depth. Hopefully we never see him play in 2025, though.

What you say is true, but he did prove to be good insurance when needed.
Good to re-sign him but this is not one of the guys who had to be done today.
I feel like if they work out a deal with Ted/Chase/Trey tomorrow or later then they won’t be active when they need to be at the start of free agency.

He was descent, probably comes back as the 3rd tackle and didn't look terrible at guard.  Versatility is important, just waiting to see what the number is.

Likely not starter money, but decent for a backup.
I'm good with him as a depth piece.
As long as he is a backup, and not the starter, I am pleased with Ford being back.

I suspect he’s being viewed as a starter

I’d let him compete with Volson for sure, but they better not be penning him in as RG.

Thats because of your overwhelmingly positive and optimistic nature.

Then you acknowledge him being signed as a starter would be a bad thing.

I was thinking another Deadwood scene regarding the bicycle going across boardwalk and quagmire, but not lengthwise.

Those who doubt me suck d*** by choice!

I think you mean penciling him in at left guard.

Doubt it.
