Yeah, we have a great portfolio of physically gifted players that we coached and get a lot out of
Like Marcus Hunt
Dax Hill
Myles Murphy
Cedric Go by me.
I mean, they all went so well. What’s there to be afraid of?
Did they even pay attention to his film? He doesn't finish.
I said it months ago Stewart fits opposite Trey Hendrickson... Now if Trey is traded tommorrow worst team building off-season ever.
Just so dumb, reminds me of Murphy, drafted on intangibles which I hate.
Going with a guy who had 4 sacks in his career over guys with 10+ sacks last year alone. Just a horrendous pick.
See the problem with Myles Murphy is that we only had one of him. Now that we have two of him we can overload teams with our Myles Murhpys. We will have too many Myles Murphys for them to account for.

Im good with pick, he is more balanced DE, athletic ability is top tier , .

He is like Myles Murphy, but he was even worse at rushing the passer in college.
The Myles Murphy pick felt like a player that was Dead on Arrival.
This feels twice as bad because at least Murphy was at the bottom of the first round.
I hope I am wrong and this is not John Ross 2.0
If we draft guys that don't get sacks then we can afford their second contract. We just drafted the most unproductive guy that will be in the first 3 rounds.

4 and 1/2 sacks in 3 years. Great measurables and potential, but has not delivered on the field as yet. It all comes to ability to develop him.
I wish we were serious about winning. We have one of the best QBs ever on the team and we're letting Zac and Tobin throw it away. Unreal.

I hate this franchise.
Yea, those interviews were so embarrassing and cringey.

At this point we have no choice.
once the lb from georgia got taken, then nolan got picked up the pick before ours, i knew this board would be losing their mind with whoever we picked.
Nfl Network guys seemed to like the pick.
Per WalterFootball.com (Link:

"The Bengals really wanted to trade down, but couldn’t do so. Instead, they made the same mistake they made in a recent draft. They selected Myles Murphy as a high-upside player with no production, and he busted. They just drafted his clone, as Stewart had 4.5 sacks throughout his entire collegiate career."

Hunt had 16 sacks in college, 8 in one season.
Hunt's big deal was that he was a 3-4 player when we ran a heavily-structured 4-3 and he was 26 or whatever

Trey is not going anywhere in 2025.
