I drool at the prospect of the Eagles Dline...but don't dare expect or hope to see it.

I would love it, but not sure a realistic outcome.

I'm not saying that it will happen, just being optimistic.

I always said great coaches can take existing players and make the team better. He does have Slayton, Stewart, Knight and a fe others plus a whole bunch of injured starters returning. They should have better team speed, the question is will they play fast. Murphy is an elite athlete, but for me plays slower than hs athleticism for example.
I think our defense is better in 2025 and like what I hear from Burrow and others talking about the defense in camp.

As one of the other JN regulars pointed out, upon watching his "highlight" films, you can clearly see that he often allows his body to get out of control and somewhat discombobulated. (think legs still going one way while the torso attempts to change direction)

That's the key right there. Coaches and players need to help teach him how to get to the QB. The hope is to marry his athletic ability with technique like great pass rushers possess. If he's willing to learn and apply, he could be a gem. If he gets that teaching and just goes out and relies on past muscle memory, or just can't translate, forget it.

This can be taught up.
Spot on Sunset. Needs to reset once he beats his man and put himself in a position to make the tackle.
Trey should really help him with this and his hands.
But Shemar's get off is as quick as it gets and I didn't see him get too many false starts or at least I never heard of it as a negative with him.
It would be awesome if Montgomery can teach Shemar up in this aspect no doubt.

to harness his athleticism and finish look out.
