Full Version: Ravens got a pool...

Just heard on NFL radio, in keeping with the NFLPA surveys, the Ravens built a large swimming pool in their facility. So how does that work out for them, the players are now complaining that over 50% of the team can't swim, and they want Michael Phelps to come in and give them swimming lessons. This whole league is nothing but divas....
I wonder if the sign at the entrance says "Welcome to the Bird Bath"? Ninja
The articles on this I read are a little bit different than how you describe it.  For example this article:

https://www.si.com/nfl/michael-phelps-responds-ravens-request-for-swimming-lessons

Quote:The Ravens used the delightful video to reveal their plight: One out of three Ravens can't swim. Baltimore then offered a solution to said plight: asking Phelps if he could come to the team's training camp and teach the players how to swim.

Of course I have not read every article but the ones I read didn't mention the players complaining about it.  Instead it seems they used the situation to have a bit of fun with it.

Perhaps you misremembered what you heard.  Happens to all of us. Or NFL radio reported it wrong, not your fault either.    Here is a link to an article with the video and it does not say 50% can't swim and it does not seem like anyone is complaining or being a diva.

The part about wanting Phelps to help them learn appears to be true.  That makes sense as he is not only an amazing swimmer but from Baltimore.  :)

I know we went over this in another thread but I think it is a good idea to question the original source, whatever that may be.
