I saw that several teams are going to have male cheerleaders this season, but not the kind of male cheerleaders most would think (ie. Minnesota Vikings)

Not a big deal to me. They rarely show cheerleaders on TV anyway. 

male cheerleaders existed before female cheerleaders did. The fact that anyone is upset with this is just ridiculous.
