According to the folks at NBC. Heard it on the pregame show.

Any other confirmation of this?
Heard it too. Seeing a specialist tomorrow. Got to hope the cast can come off. That'll be a good sign.
I literally think there is a 0% chance he plays this week. Hope I'm wrong.
Didn't he tell Siragusa there was no chance for next week at the beginning of today's game?

I feel the opposite.  I think he'll play no matter what.
I don't see this happening.. even if he does play- How good will he really play coming off that injury

I agree.

Exactly this

They won't let him play if he can't be effective.  Will he be able to grip the ball properly?  Is he going to fumble every time he gets hit because of a lack of strength in his grip?

Besides, the docs have to say the cast can come off before any of this is anything but speculation.
I'm honestly preparing for the worst.

Dalton's just an optimistic guy.
NBC was blowing smoke. Of course he's optimistic. But he's not getting it looked at till tomorrow
Not happening.
Yeah I didn't think it'd happen either, but the Bengals usually play this stuff close to the vest, so it's surprising Dalton would say anything at all.

Don't get me wrong, I really really really really hope you're right. And I really really really hope he's effective. But I just don't see it happening.
If anything it may cause some confusion for Shitsburgh.

Nahh, i doubt it.

When they blitz the hell out of our line Gio or Hill need to just run behind them (like they did once today, finally), and throw it over their heads.
The steelers can't cover out WR without Eifert.   With Eifery it will be a joke .  Heck AJM almost got 300 yards passing with no practice

Maybe trying to take a lot of the garbage talk off of the 0-pher?
Doesn't Dalton have a bunch of money on this. I believe his contract was structured including bonuses for playoff wins

He said if he had to play today it would be a "no" and about next week "playing the waiting game. see what the doctors have to say. hoping to get the cast off...".
I don't want Andy Dalton on that field until he is 100% recovered. Nervous
