AKA, he might not get drafted until day 3 and that would be taking a risk.

Yup. Nerve damage sucks. If he was there in the 6th or 7th I might consider taking him, but not before then.
If Jaylon is there in the 4th round Id take him in a heartbeat. Redshirt him his rookie year and let him heal. If he doesnt pan out then you only spent a 4th rounder on him.
