David Bowie has passed at 69 after a battle with cancer.

First Lemmy and now Bowie. Cancer can **** off.

His son confirming it.
What a shitty start to the new year. RIP Ziggy Stardust.
RIP Bowie
Another tough loss in the music industry. R.I.P. David.
One of the greatest influences in the genre of Rock n Roll.

Sad news, for sure.  Another legend gone.  What a wild and crazy and prolific career he had.
Quote:Though I'm past one hundred thousand miles
I'm feeling very still
And I think my spaceship knows which way to go
Tell my wife I love her very much she knows
Ground Control to Major Tom
Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you "Here am I floating round my tin can
Far above the Moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do."

RIP Major Tom

And King Jareth

And David Bowie...
One of the most influential of all time.

"David Bowie often did things I was worried I wasn't smart enough to understand. This counts as one of those things."
Always really like the songs "Heroes" and "Little Wonder". Also liked him as Nikola Tesla in The Prestige.
I caught this video on Youtube tonight, and I teared up.

Haunting...
