Third round players DO have the potential to impact the game, but it's not a certainty.
To me at least, this is a weak draft. It's already hard enough to find talent.
As it stands, McCarron could be the starter on a poor to mediocre team. I just don't see the value.
I would rather have one of the best backup QBs in the league, honestly.
A starting QB in the NFL is worth more than a 3rd rounder - especially a young one.
A 3rd rounder is not enticing at all.
