Newton is still living off perceived potential.  His progression has been pretty slow. 

True, but some people like to trumpet the fact that Dalton took over a 4-12 team, but Newton inherreted one that was 2-14 and Stafford took over the biggest losers in NFL history for pete's sake.

well generally Most teams that are picking a QB 1st overall are pretty bad....
