I did not win the day, in fact I missed qualifying for USS Nationals by one single point. However, I did win my signature event, the overhead clean and press.

My signature event is the "clean and jerk"

In the shower.

Thanks, I feel like I just played back to back football games.  Must be the middle aged thing..
Congrats man . That's awesome
I probably couldn't bench press that bar more than zero times.

Congrats. How much weight is that?

The overhead was #227, which I did for 10 reps.  1st place

The truck pull was just under 40K, I pulled it 65' in 17.8 sec.  3rd place

The car DL was a #4500 Dodge Charger, I sandbagged and did no reps.  (a strategic move to conserve energy, which I came later to regret)  last place

The farmer's walk was #220/hand, I went 100' with a turn, in 16.3 sec.  (however, pulled my calf, rendering me useless in Atlas Stones)  2nd place

Atlas Stones, I did the 1st stone (205) on one leg, just to record a rep.  last place

Still walking with a limp from the pulled calf, but live to compete another day.

Yep, even with injuries and such.  Still beats sitting around the house drinking all weekend. Cool

A person would have to be a friend of the Facebook account owner to view the videos.
