Good stuff from Gio.

Always has a sense of humor, and is taking a global view of what the hit means now for players going forward.
Also said he would've been able to play in the divisional round.

Love Gio!
It was heartbreaking the way it all went down!
It's awesome that he has a sense of humor about it but, honestly, I don't think it matters because it's the Steelers so the refs would have found a way to justify not throwing a flag.

He is really excited for this year as he should be, personally i think we should get him extended now.
BTW, cool pick Brad...
People seem to like to blow Gio up on screens.
Is that Brad or Pete Rose?
Even thoug Gio feels he was ready to play 2 days later I am glad he has all off season to recover after getting knocked out.
Most players will lie about how they feel (and even lie to themselves) in order to play.
He was pretty insistent he was going to be ready to play in New England. He holds the same attitude Mike B. did on that - not really looking at it like the league screwed them. But it takes the rare active player to say such things. For instance, you didn't hear much from the Eagles players about their SB loss to the Patriots and Spy Gate until they were done. Curious to see if this group doesn't get over the hump, and when it's all said and done, some of these guys look back at that say man, that was messed up.

Too bad he wasn't the ball carrier on last possession. We would have put the ghosts to rest.
Leading with the crown of the helmet and launching at the other player is illegal no matter how the runner is defined. I think they hope if they say this enough that people will believe it. The freaking hit was illegal just as most of the BS the steelers did in that game was. There have been so many times they have changed the rules because of Steeler dirty crap on Bengals players. (Carson Palmer knee rule, Heinz Ward p*ssy crack back block rule and hitting punters when they are defenseless and now the Shazqueer illegal hit. Disgusting!
