Taking off from the Cover Song thread...

Name a song that you wish would(or would have)been covered by another band/artist.

Along with serious responses, I'm sure there will be some interesting humorous ones as well.

We shall see...
so does this song have to have been covered by a band but we think another band can do it better?

Any song by any artist/band that you wish someone else would or would've covered.

You don't particularly even have to like the band.

You could hear them doing it... or perhaps doing it better.
I'll give an example of a band that wasn't my thing but I could hear them doing... and probably pretty good too.

"One Thing Leads To Another" by the Fixx remade by Limp Bizkit.
Pumped up Kicks by Foster the People redone by... Lamb of God.
Tom Waits should cover Bruce Springsteen's Thunder Road.
Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks doing Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Back Home"
25 minutes to Go -  Marilyn Manson

Long Black Veil- Hell Yeah!

Lonesome On'ry & Mean- Corey Taylor (Slipknot)
Man on the Silver Mountain- Black Label Society

That one would be fantastic Fred !

Love both of them and they'd do it justice.

That would probably be pretty awesome.

Some half time break down in there for a heavy groove would kick ass!

Zakk would tear it up on that arpeggiated part.
Cortez the Killer by Junior Brown
