The 64 year old Grobe coached at Ohio from 1995-2000 and Wake Forest from 2001-2013, leading the Demon Deacons to 5 bowl games. Grobe led the Demon Deacons to the ACC Championship in 2006, going 11-3 that season.
Grobe resigned following the 2013 season after going 4-8 that year, his 5th straight losing season at Wake Forest.

Well that's the end of Baylor Football relevance.

Grobe is a nice man and respected coach but he and Briles have a completely different view on building a team.

Whoever hires Briles in a year will be getting a great one.
