Gets my vote.
Yup.....
Tough call between Bergey and Leclair. Bergey may have been the better player but went with Leclair due to longevity. Plus, I tend to give tie-breakers to guys who were starters on the Super Bowl teams.
Going through this all-time team though, it's a little sad. Look at the DE, OLB, and MLB positions and how many total pro bowls do you have between all the candidates. Really shows how this has been an offensive franchise.
Not even close for me. Jim LeClair!
My vote goes to Brian Simmons, but for the poll I picked Leclair.
Bergy was arguably the best defensive player in the entire league.
Seriosly, how many of the guys on that list couold we trade for two first round picks plus a second round pick? And that was in the days before free agency when draft picks were so much more valuable.
It was a very tough call between Bergey and LeClair for me. Overall careers, I would say Bergey, but he just wasn't a Bengal long enough...although I did go with Bacon, and he wasn't a Bengal long enough either, so......lol. This one was really a toss up for me.
I went with JL but I guess I never realized how weak we have been over the years at MLB. Hell you could probably make a decent argument that Dhani meant as much to the teams he was on as any of the candidates did.
Bergey - the guy was a stud
Can you name the 3 players we got (drafted) for him?

We have been pretty poor at all the LB spots and really the front 7 in general. I think Burfict/Geno have already been to more Pro Bowls/ Named All Pro more than any other Bengal on the front 7 (Krumrie might be tied)

I believe Wilson Whitley and Ross Browner were the two first round picks.
Ray Griffen was the second rounder.

Has to be more than what we got for Lamar Parrish AND Coy Bacon.

Alexander the Great
Why is TKO third in voting? I thought we had too many young voters in some of the other polls?

If more of his career had been spent here he might have it locked down
