If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure we got points on the board in the Seattle game because they botched a KR.. I could have the wrong game, but it seems familiar. That hasn't happened to us in a while, and let me tell you, nothing brings the air out of the stadium like a fumbled KR.

Was that Calwell who fumbled the kickoff when we had the Raiders beaten and handed them the game?  2009?

Yeah he has very limited amount of plays to judge off of though...  He does fit in nicely as a #3 stretch the field type of WR  and has made some pretty nice catches on the sideline and down the field.

yes it was Caldwell

That was too ridiculous to even be upset about, if I recall.  It was like someone sold his soul  to the devil for the Raiders to pull that one out.

EDIT: I looked it up and forgot the game was tied 17 all at that point.
He doesn't fumble the ball. I can only remember one since he has been a Bengal.

That's why he has a job

Tate has fumbled the ball 12 times with 3 lost since he's been here.
He has only 1 fumble lost the last 3 seasons.
lol

Fumbles lost or recovered make everyone take a collective gasp...

Because a fumble recovered could still set you up on the 6 yard line on a kickoff.

Yeah but what about simple muffs that are quickly recovered?  Do those count as fumbles?

No, I *think* you need actual control for it to be a fumble, so long as you recover it. I think if you muff it and instantly pick it back up, it doesn't count. I know I have seen players do that like three times in a game and I don't recall them getting 3 fumbles on their stat line.
That's what I thought. Was curious though since it's a free ball after it is touched
