Does Netflix count as a channel ?

If so, that's all I need.

As I said in the OP: You cannot stream from the Internet, so NETFLIX does not count.

Sounds like you are putting me in a time machine and sending me back to the days of pre-cable.

In that instance, it will have to be CBS, NBC, and ABC; and I will be happy about it, since all 3 had good shows and news on back then.

That was kind of the motivation for the thread, but we had that 4th channel (PBS). Heck, we got a 5th channel when we moved to Cincy WXIX 19

When I consider everything, including news & sports, gotta stick with the major networks - FOX and CBS (mainly because of the NFL and March Madness)....then probably give the nod to NBC over ABC because of the Olympics.

Well, and can we still rent DVD's of seasons of shows? I think I found a loophole!

In which case, this comes down pretty much to which 3 networks give you the best for live sports.
