Sadly he has passed at age 61...

I always enjoyed his coverage and thought he did a stand up job for ESPN.
His voice always got me ready for some college football on Saturdays.  2016 strikes again. 

Does anyone know how he died?  I haven't heard that yet.

Don't think it has been determined yet. Just said wife found him unresponsive at home.
2016 can go **** itself.

A family member (wife?) stated that he had been ill for several days.

That's all I have been able to find.

Leads me to believe it was one of those "I'll be fine in a couple of days, no need for a doctor" type of things...
