Apparently core went up for a pass it bounced off his hands and immediately grabbed his right hand hopefully just a jam or sprain
They said he'll probably be able to go Thursday...

Rookie wide receiver Cody Core went leaping for an Andy Dalton pass over the middle and apparently dislocated a finger as he was exhaling in pain while running back up field and checking with the trainers. He didn’t return but he should be able to play Thursday night (7:30-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) in Detroit.

He'll be out until week 5.

Tape it up and go.
I'm hoping Core gets a ton of reps this preseason, and with the #1s. He is probably one of the most physically gifted WRs on the squad, but is also the most "raw". They really seem to like that he is very coachable, as right away he greatly improved his release with a little instruction.

If Core can keep improving his technique, he will be better prepared when his number gets called later this year.
Starting to look like Core was A HUGE win for us picking him up as late as we did. Kudos once again to our scouting team and Mr. Tobin!

Yep.

A lot of people forget that Marvin Jones was a 5th round pick.
