Any sport, Anytime ?

Charles Barkley is way up there for me.  It's really hard to pick.

Mine is french cyclist Bernard Hinault ( The Badger ).

Incredible fighter.

Probably Michael Jordan for me. 

Barry Sanders was fun to watch too. 

Mike Tyson?

Tiger Woods? 


These are all my favorite athletes. 

impossible to pick just one.

Munoz and Anderson are my two "heroes". They were high character men who were the best in the league at what they did while playing for my favorite team.

But as far as favorite to watch I'd say Bo Jackson and Barry Sanders.

Only american to gold medal in the sport. and a staple of the pro wrestling world.

Rulon Gardner. One of the biggest upsets in all of sports. 

Although I was never a Bears fan, I loved watching Walter Payton, he was one of my favorites I guess.

I used to love watching Michael Johnson (the track athlete) run.

If you've never seen it, find a way to watch The Pistol: The Birth of a Legend. 

It's about what Pete did growing up to become as great as he became.  He was magical. 

Averaged 44 pts a game in college.  If there had been a three point line in those days, he would have averaged 60 or 70.

He was a great offensive player--ball handler, shooter, passer.  He wasn't  a great defensive player but his man was never gonna outscore him.

He died on a basketball court way too young.  Turns out his heart was never equipped to be an athlete.  Doctors have said it was a miracle he played so long.

He never found peace in life.  Ultimately, a sad story.  But he was downright poetic as a player.

Because it was such an iconic moment of the 20th century, and even though they're a group and not one athlete, I'm gonna go with these guys:

Michael Jordan- Watching the guy play was like watching movie. He was the definition of clutch player. Probably the most amazing athlete in his field I have ever seen.
