Me, and my good friend, and brother in Strongman, Ryan.  You would never know by looking, that Ryan was totally down with a serious back injury, just a few months ago.

As for me, I got my 1st Championship.

Congrats!! I know it took a lot of hard work and training. And it paid off. I bet you are still full of adrenaline but will feel it a little after it wears off.

Yeah, I feel like I played two football games, back to back.  The Vodka seems to be helping.  At age 46, I need all the relief that I can get..

Won the arm over arm truck pull  100 ft in .43

3rd in Strongman Medley  .46  (damned young dudes with their better cardio..)

3rd in Keg over bar  4 reps  #260 keg

Won log press  13 reps at #200

Won axle DL  8 reps  at #425  (fat bar, no straps)

The Women's champ was no joke.  She overhead pressed #100 for 16 reps, and DL #245 for 19, had hands almost as big as mine.

Actually, it looks more like a testicle. The "Iron Balls" trophy.
