at Live Aid (80s) he did Elton John's dont let the sun go down with elton playing piano.  he did a great job on that.  he had a good voice but his music never apealed to me either.

I prefer that version to the original.

I always hated Billy Joel but love the song "My Life". Must've been the Bosom Buddies reruns when I was a kid.
