Anyone else watch this show?

I didn't think I would like it based upon its premise: a medical resident gets infected, becomes a zombie, determines to continue living among humans and fight crime. Didn't sound very promising. But I gave it a try and found the show has some interesting writing with clever humor and engaging story lines. It reminds me of Monk in some ways.

It was written/created by Rob Thomas, who wrote Veronica Mars (if you ever saw that show, good first two seasons).

I really like the show. It's not too much of anything — doesn't try to be a comedy, doesn't try to be gorey, doesn't try for romance, doesn't try for action — but it has a lot of those elements. Last I read they were coming back sometime in 2017?
