That's easy. The O coordinator not knowing what the hell he's doing. With as strong as the Steeler DLine is along with the speed of their linebackers you have to hit them immediately and get the push. That one second delay by handing off to the second back is too much time to try and penetrate the Steeler Dline. It's common damn sense. It's had enough to run on those sob's anyway, so it's especially hard to run against them stacked up like that.

For this line of logic to work, every variable would have to be the same for all 4 plays. The line got no push for Hill's attempts.
