If this guy has any inkling of wanting to be a HC, why the hell not give him a try (since we HAVE to promote from within).
If anything has been consistently decent it has been special teams. I assume the transition from special teams to HC are a huge one, but imo Simmons is our best coach.
Are there any HC's out there that used to be a special teams coach? IDK if it is even fathomable.
I would be OKAY with Simmons stepping in... the other coaches I wouldn't be too excited for.
