It’s long but very enjoyable. He’s had an interesting journey but the last 15-20 minutes all Bengals.

  Rookies

Sorry if I missed a post about this already out there, but I was so impressed with how the rookies played against Indy. Couple of the Dlibe rookies got sacks, Newton looks good, All made some plays, Burton is a beast and it just kept going. I believe we got some much needed depth back. I wasn’t a fan of this past draft at all, but I have to say they are proving me wrong so far. This might be the deepest we’ve been in 10 years or so. Can’t wait for the season to start. Hope Murphy heels up and comes back strong. There are a couple players cut I would mind us grabbing but all in all I’m pretty content and ready. Who-Dey mofos Let’s Go!!!!!

I Need A New Bengals Card Protector!
Posted by: BFritz21 - 08-24-2024, 02:39 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (3)

I've only played live once since Covid in anything other than online poker, but I'm starting in a group tonight where we play once a month and then the top three are awarded seats at the World Series of Poker Main Event.

I've used a card protector for probably 15 years with a Bengals logo on it, but now I can't find it.

People talk like card protectors are all for show and I used to agree until a few times at a table when I was dealt aces or another big hand and I would be looking around trying to get a read on other people's cards, and the dealer would take mine.

I'm going Bengals again but need some ideas on what protector I should order.

I like that one because it seems kind of fierce.

Not real big on that one because it just seems too bland.

[Image: s-l1600.jpg]I kind of like that one.

I appreciate opinions or any other ideas!

Dude is a stud. He is making the team for sure. Makes me interested to see what a 4-3 with him, Pratt, and Wilson would look like.

Since there's no thread up yet, I thought I'd start one for comments about tonight's tilt.

Who do you think will be the Bengals highest PFF graded player on defense??
Posted by: J24 - 08-21-2024, 07:24 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (24)

Listening to the growle- Balds dont lie edition- Paul presented an interesting question to Moe Egger; Which player will have the highest PFF grade on defense.(minimum 400 snaps)

I'm going with Edge Joseph Ossai!
Why you say; 1.) I like his skill set and Athlectisim, 2.) He is playing with 3 good pass rushers in Trey, BJ, and Sheldon, and 3.)It's his contract season and he will be extra motivated to get paid next offseason.

So members of the board Who will be the Defense's highest graded PFF player this season? (Minimum 400 snaps)

No surprises. But we did place two guys on IR and cut one. We have 3 open roster spots.

https://www.bengals.com/news/bengals-roster-moves-x5877

The Bengals today made the following roster moves:

*Placed HB Chris Evans (knee) and OT D'Ante Smith (knee) on the Reserve/Injured list.

*Waived DT Devonnsha Maxwell

  Post Preseason Game 2 notes
Posted by: Joelist - 08-18-2024, 07:48 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (29)

- DT Kris Jenkins; what a difference a week makes. After the 30.1 PFF in Week 1 he posted a 75.2 PFF in Week 2.

- Dax Hill posted a 64.1 and DJ Turner a 64.4. But considered they each only had 6 plays it is pretty academic.

- C Matt Lee posted a 68.0 total with an 84.2 pass blocking score.

- Trayvon Williams and Noah Cain posted scores of 69.2 and 58.8 respectively. Both were in the high 70s / low 80s pass blocking and the big difference was pass receiving (64.1 to 83).

- LT Jason Kirkland like Matt Lee got a lot of snaps. Like Matt Lee he also graded high (overall 73.2 pass block 86.9).

Nice to see a bunch of prospects showing promise.
