***Official 2021 NFL Draft Thread***

That being said, you can't convince me its an F when you get one of the 4 elite guys in the draft.  But there's plenty of room for criticism when you don't address the biggest weakness on your team and you don't spend some serious cash to protect your franchise in FA>

Yeah, I don't like the pick, but Chase is objectively a very very good player. I couldn't give it less than a B. I hate the fact that the Bengals aren't going all-in on protecting Burrow, but regardless of Chase or Pitts, both will likely be real gold productive players.

Chargers have protected Herbert. Note taken.

Yuck solid floor low ceiling tackle. Love how they mention Young vs Slater but fail to mention AJ Epenesa working him over.

That's very true, but when you have had one of the worst O-lines for a couple years and you watched your franchise QB get battered last year AND you sit on your hands in FA, you have to expect that the analysts are going to destroy you for ignoriing it.

Chargers add the best C in the NFL, a quality starting G, and the #2 OL in the draft.

They are all-in on protecting Herbert. Not playing around.

Well that they did not do.  They re-signed Spain and brought in Riley Reif.

They also seem to think the draft is only 1 round this year. We need interior offensive lineman. Top half of the 2nd round is where you tend to find them.

LOL.  Come on.  Spain was here last year and he was average.  Reiff is an upgrade from Hart, but he middle of the line is trash.

Compare our offseason to what the Chargers did and what the Chiefs did to protect their franchise QBs.

That would be dumb. Talk about a position you can find gems at any point in the draft.

The addition of Reiff, Another year of Jonah plus a 2nd and 3rd pick on O-line will get what you want.

Pollack is ok not great, he did not improve Jets Oline in his 2 years, Bengals need players not coaches to get back

Signing Reiff is far from sitting on your hands in FA. I understand you weren't thinking when you posted, but he called you out on it.
