I think go D'nte Smith or another oline with the 1st 4th but then the other 2 give us flexibility could go Marqueze Stevenson who could help on offense as he's one of the faster WR but he's also a good punt returner. Then DE. I think the draft could definitely have gone better but this 4th rd should really let us know how it will look.

It does make me laugh reading these boards, love to dip my toe in from time to time to witness the chaos.
In terms of logical moves in both FA and the draft, so far, this is the best I can remember from the Bengals since following the team in the mid noughties. I'm not calling any of these players slam dunks, no one knows that, but I really like the process here.
We signed a vet starter to a team friendly deal to instantly upgrade our RT position. Loaded up on solid D FAs to allow us to have an offensive minded draft. We draft the best college WR in a while who also happens to have a locked and loaded chemistry with our QB. We trade down and get great value in the 2nd. The amount of times this board has banged the drum to do this over the years and now we do so, get great value, still likely get a starter at guard, the hate continues to flow. 3rd round choice was a consensus BPA move in an area that needed improving.
I really dont understand what people are looking for going here when bemoaning every pick. Do people really think 3 or more rounds of only OLmen is the way forward? Genuinely? Do people honestly believe that Jonah Williams and Reiff are going to be beaten out so easily? Are there really better options in the 3rd and 4th rounds than XSF and Spain?
The mistake the franchise made was not taking OL seriously last year and being too passive in FA. But so far you cannot logically say this team isnt doing everything they can to make amends.

I need Cox since we didn't get Meinerz

We have to make the Playoffs and win a game for Taylor and company to stick around. Period.
12 wins, Playoff win and alright.

Some like Stone Forsythe , although I would think he’s in a tier below the aforementioned two. I think people are sleeping on Hudson though. Needs development, but he has huge upside for this late in the draft.
I have been sleeping on Hudson, really like Alaric. Thanks for bringing up Hudson Dr.Z

Burrow only has 4 years until his contract starts becoming a drain on the cap. Aggressive moves this offseason/draft are warranted. Instead we have the standard lukewarm approach.
We got Reiff, brought back Spain, fired Turner, brought in Pollack and now Jackson Carman.
I bet if we went Sewell, Carman with the first two picks you would still say they don't value the lines.
Just need better talent evaluation in the past. I like the new guys this time around same as Jonah.

I mean I want playoffs or Zac gone, I'm speaking in terms of reality. 8+ wins probably gets him another contract. I'm also very interested in Zimmer if he's available.

With 17 regular season games now we need to win at least 12 games to get in most likely in the toughest Division in football.
I think Zimmer is very possible if the Vikes don't care enough to keep him around.

Charlie (From Walters) re-mock for round 4 and 5:
Cincinnati Bengals: Daviyon Nixon, DT, Iowa
Cincinnati could use more young talent at defensive tackle.
Cincinnati Bengals: Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama
The Bengals add more linebacker competition.
Cincinnati Bengals: Michael Carter, RB, North Carolina
Cincinnati grabs a backup to keep Joe Mixon fresh.
Cincinnati Bengals: Adrian Ealy, OT, Oklahoma
Cincinnati could use multiple competitors on the offensive line.

I would like a developmental OT pick with one of our 4ths that could become our right OT of the future.

I wouldn't mind a grab at Cameron Sample as a DE/DT. He had a good Senior Bowl.

Tons of good players left. RB, WR, DL, OL, Corner
Going to be interesting.
Love to get Michael Carter, can’t believe he is there, Gio replacement.
Similar Fehoko 6’4” 4.3 speed. Nuff said. Tylan Wallace, Amon-Ra
D’ante Smith is a nice tackle prospect. Is Stone F too tall?
James Hudson projects as a guard but I’d love it.
Edge guys like Weaver, Rumph and Roche and Sample
Interesting DT’s. Some centers even.
Shaun Wade?
Should be a productive day.

If we go some combination of OL (Smith, Hill, Hudson), DL (Nixon, Tufele, Weaver), and skill (Jordan, Carter) in 4 I’ll be happy.

This is basically the same thing I came on to post - agree completely.
I didn’t love the Carman pick, but I’ll feel a lot better about it if we make this fourth round a slam dunk. This has historically been a good round for us so having 3 picks make me feel even better.
With the three picks:
OL: Would love Hudson or Smith.. in that order
DT: I love Nixon, but would also be happy with Marvin Wilson or Bobby Brown.
If we nail those first two then I’m happy going BPA for the last pick.
Who dey!
