Yes, there may eventually be some fans jumping off the Cincy bridge, seriously it could happen, but, for me, I KNOW and understand we can't trade owners, so it is what it is, but I also don't see you bashing the homers, most of them probably youngsters and have no clue what the difference was between father and son owners and the fact that this franchise drew the short straw TWICE by having to play the 49ers, in the SB, with the greatest QB of HIS time, and the HC that PB SHOULD have hired when he stepped down as HC, instead of hiring Tiger Johnson. 

There's only one approach as a Bengals fan since PB made the second worst decision of his career, letting his feelings override his intellect, by handing the baton to MB, and that's

'Expect the worst, hope for the best"!

It's extra shitty for me. I live in PA When I was born I was brought home in a steeler outfit. My dad has the picture he still teases me with. When I was 8 , I noticed football and how I enjoyed it for the first time. The unis, Boomer,  Ickey and that whole year in 88 sparked my love for the Bengals and I've been passionate about ever since. Through all the torture of steeler fans around here , I never turned my back on the team. We are the bad guys here somehow though, because we are passionate about wanting the team to be successful. They can be happy with a loss, but why do they got a shit on us? I could care less how they feel about a loss, but they just can't help themselves, if someone feels different than them.. I remember in the 90s turning the steele game to the headline news channel every 5 minutes because they were the only channel that had a sports ticker the time and my Dad would ***** like crazy.. I was the only kid in school with a Jeff Blake jersey, and not matter the teasing, I still wore it with pride. So don't question my passion for the Bengals or Fandom, you don't know shit.. The taunting , the fumbles, the shit coaching.. This brought up 90s memories..

It's a game that none of us - NONE OF US - have any effect on. This team taught me to stop getting bent out of shape about things I don't control; I'd suggest a lot of folks here learn that as well.

Fred you and I both know they didn't do enough to sure up the offensive line. 

They took a chance on a second round pick who was no guarantee. That guy can't even see the field right now. 

Same with Trey Hopkins. Guy was coming back from a torn up knee and they just threw him out there. They knew damn well he wasn't ready. Not to mention they brought in zero depth for the OL, which was exposed last week. 

They didn't do enough, hence the SHIT SHOW they have been pretty much all year. Burrow has been sacked 41 times. Worst in the league. If they keep giving up 5+ sacks a game they will set the record for most QB sacks in a regular season. 

Maybe I should have looked this up before the game but the Bengals are 4-12 all time against the 49ers; 4-13 counting yesterday’s debacle.

AJ McCarron beat them in 2015 and so did Jon Kitna in 2003. Neither Andy Dalton nor Carson Palmer ever beat the 49ers.

This may be the worst record the Bengals have compiled against any team in the NFL.

Funny, '88 also sparked my love for the  Bengals and it is when I starting following the NFL. I was just old enough to learn the game and like you was excited about the Bengals: the helmets, lefty QB Boomer, Ickey, and one of my favs was Eddie Brown. I'll support your extra shitty comment since you live in enemy territory. I sort of relate. I'm a Miami grad it was so painful to Big Ben get drafted by the Steelers (mind you, this was before his disgusting behavior toward women was known). I was proud Miami had a stud QB make it to the pros but so, so, so disappointed he went to the Steelers.

I really loved fulcher. I played safety because of him. Also played RB, but my love was safety.. Love to hit.. Got thrown out in my first game for 3 helmet to helmet hits in midgets lol. The coach wasn't even mad at me, loved the passion just helped my try to fix it, which I never really could. It's hard to control it when you got that shot and everything's moving so fast.. I could never keep my head up. It just doesn't feel natural, and to me could get you hurt worst..

Many posters like to get in snide digs with generalized opinions, especially toward people that are frustrated by the Bengals. I often wonder if these are young guys who grew up only watching the Marvin Lewis Bengals where at least winning season and playoff appearances happened? Baby boomers and Gen X'ers experienced the '90s Bengals. I'm sure it, for better or worse, comes out in our posting styles. Edit: Lots of generalizations by me!

Anyhow, I do my best, but can fail, to ignore those giving the ole 1-2 punch combo toward my posts when I'm in anti-Bengals mood. 

Ultimately, I think it's okay to be both a fan & a downer when the franchise tears at my emotions.   I want Zac and the Bengals to win.
