***Week 8 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Browns***
(10-31-2022, 11:52 PM)Joelist Wrote: He does suck. His offensive system has no identity and his play calling is predictable. Part of the problem linemen have under Zac is defenses can tee off because they know what is coming and he really sucks at early down play calling so the OL gets setup with ideal pass rushing down and distance combos.

When u rush 4 and drop 7 and get this pressure , your line is the big issue, but agree ZT and include Burrow has to overcome and raise game when pressured. But line is still the big issue, Pollack should be 1st coach Let go

Yep! These same players in three cases are veterans from other teams where they played and were effective. They come here and suddenly can't block? That's scheme.

On the bright side the same thing happened last year and things turned out all right.

The season is certainly far from over. We should have two very winnable games coming up. If we lose one of those the season feels lost unless we come back and upset someone I don't expect to beat to finish the season.

**** Jonah

He had to hurry back to the line for his next turnstyle manuever.

If I were the defense, I would be pissed at Taylor for going for it there.

Trash.

I did, I rolled back the dvr and he totally strolled away and left burrow laying there. He got wiffed and didn’t do anything.

Hunt would struggle with this Oline.  Mixon is not the problem with the running game anymore than Burrow is the problem with the passing game.  This O line is just not that good.

And every lineman we draft is a bust too.

Cannot remember the terminology, ( too mad and full of candy ), but there is a process about throwing out the lowest and the highest value of something and that is what something actually is. Apply that to Zac Taylor.

I don't mind the dink and dunk. Mixon is not the player to dink and dunk with yet tghe coaches refuse to do anything different. Prior to the last 3rd a long where they were playing for off he had 6 catches on 8 targets for 3ypr. He also had another stellar 3.4ypc rushing.

He's just not good at making people miss and isn't good in space at this point in his career.

Trade whoever you gotta trade and fix the line. Fix it so there’s time to get right for next year. Any team with an above average DL or LB is going to maul us this year.

Defensive line is absolute shit…you think they’ll look to trade for someone? Doubtful.

It's the offensive coaching. Tee Higgins also struggled vs man coverage.

Zero speed of offense.

Zac Taylor post game presser Bingo:

- Just need to clean some things up
- I don't know, need to watch the film
- Just didn't execute on a few plays
- We had a good game plan, the plays were there
- No one wants to win more than those guys in the locker room
- We'll be fine

Feel free to check them off
