Rookies are supposed to make mistakes in the preseason. Learning from them and not repeating them is the key. Battle can’t promise he won’t give up another catch, of course, but he’s confident there will not be another taunting penalty.

“Just apologize and move on,” he said.

Chido is upgraded to 11 on 11 practice...though is being rotated in and out with limited reps.

A few notes from the Zac Taylor press conference today:

OL Cody Ford suffered a concussion in practice yesterday.

CB Marvell Tell suffered one in the game.

CB DJ Turner is day to day with soreness.

DT BJ Hill has soreness as well, no concerns.

Myles Murphy bull rushed Jackson Carman and ended up in Jake Browning’s lap. Browning came away limping and was replaced by Reid Sinnett.

Browning still out here doing QB drills after 11s period. No trainers around him.

Not good for Carman.  Was he playing LT or RT?

Jackson has flashed some and especially did against Atlanta. I thought that pass interfernce was a good play and looked like he might of not been able to make the catch and intentionally slowed down to draw the foul ( atleast i thought it looked like that ). Not sure how he's been doing on special teams and I would think thats his only way to make the team and unseat Morgan who really shows nothing as a receiver outside of his blocking.

I thought Jackson looked like the best offensive player last week but nothing spectacular.  He would need to have another good game and show some special teams ability to knock Morgan off the roster.  At this point I think he may have earned himself a spot on the practice squad which isnt too bad for an UDFA.

I don't know whether it's an assistant receiver's coach or working with Elizabeth up in the marketing dept., but they definitely need to find a place for Chad and keep him around full time.

Yeah, it is public information. The difference is most people won't look it up because they don't know how or are too lazy. However, when a reporter just puts it out there..... I don't really blame him for being mad.
