I don't really get into the whole bulletin-board psychology of NFL games BUT I'll say the following:
Sure, Rex would love to beat the Jets (didn't help him beat the Jets the first time they played this year, did it?) BUT wouldn't Ryan Fitzpatrick just love to get to the playoffs by beating his old team that tossed him aside so they could draft a 1st round bust who will be sitting on the bench during the game?

I do have to admit that Rex seems like the kind of coach who could convince players to become vindictive spoilers so he can have some spiteful fun to end a pointless season.

Good point right there. Maybe the Bills can pull it off, hmm.

That said, if the Stoolers beat the Browns and the Bills beat the Jets, the Stoolers will retake the 6th seed.
Most likey we will have the 3rd seed as I don't see Denver losing to the Chargers in Denver. That said, it will be the 3rd seed vs the 6th seed in the first round.
Go J-E-T-S.
I hate the Stoolers.
The only problem with facing the Jets is that they beat us twice at Cincy during the playoffs.
Don't rule out the Chargers beating the Broncos just yet, they are division rivals and always play them tough plus this is likely their last game as the San Diego Chargers (likely the team to move to L.A.) and Rivers will be amped up and emotional for its swan song (He is way better than Osweiller).
Don't be surprised if San Diego beats Denver, I'd be more worried about the Bengals handling business against the Ravens.

Honestly I think the Jets are a better team than the Steelers. They're definitely more well-rounded. They have a far better defense and their offense ranks 7th in yards and 10th in points. That WR duo of Marshall and Decker is as good as any in the league and their chemistry with Fitzpatrick is off the charts.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

The Bills beat the Jets in the 1st game. Ryan acted like they just won the Super Bowl. I'm sure he'll have them at full speed.

I'd love it if SD could pull off the upset. Hopefully they're motivated to play spoiler. Also, they're well rested, they played last Thursday vs. Denver who played Monday. Maybe that'll help.

have you noticed the comments this year from players.. many are already tired of Rex.. he never achieved that much in New York and it is already showing in Buffalo that his style does not fit as well with players as some want to make it out.

I really don;t care who we play at home.. both the Steelers, Jets and Chiefs have plus and minus to their teams.. and we matchup with any of those teams (we have already defeated Steelers and Chiefs) so in the end does not matter the opponent what matters is we play a sound fundamental football game and that will give us a good chance to win over any of them.

You're right. Hmm, why did I think the Jets won that? Anyways, the Jets will win this one to split the series perhaps OR Rex Ryan gets to get the very "Rex-like" stat of having swept his former team and being THE reason they didn't make the playoffs.

I despise the STOOLERS but I'd rather face them than the Jets. They look very good on both sides of the football right now.

What better way to end our playoff drought than vs the steelers. We can transfer the title of one and done to them since that would make it the last 3 times they have been in the playoffs they were one and done.

I trust the Jets to get it done.
Everything in this post is my fault.
