That had to be a hard decision to take Mims. With Hubbard coming off injury and Hendrickson asking for a trade (Verse). Tee asking for a trade (Thomas). A quality CB still on the board (Mitchell). Another decent OT on the board (Fautanu).

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

Pro bowl players regress under Pollack. I wanted OL but damn, had our pick on defensive play makers and we take a player who will not see a snap this year. I would have preferred a Center or Newton. Hope I’m wrong but I just don’t believe in Pollack. Then Pollack is the problem, not the Mims pick. And no matter who we picked, Trent Brown was still the short term starter.

1 more Offensive Tackle in the 1st ties the record 2 breaks it. I called it back in November lol.
I have the Heart of a Lion! I also have a massive fine and a lifetime ban from the Pittsburgh Zoo...

His collegiate pass protection was perfect. He just lacks as many starts as the others.

Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Happy they went this way. I thought they’d go Thomas for sure.

Mims is obviously going to be groomed to be the RT next season and likely will be starting by the end of this season.
Second round I hope is DT.
