***Preseason GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Bears***

Some these takes today are prime game day form.  The worst (not you) but others calling the defense awful on the Caleb TD .
That really cracked me up:

We actually had great pressure from the front 4, the play lasted 10 seconds and not one WR was open, and that was the Bears #1 offense vs our 2's & 3's.

Thanks for this. Heard Kris Jenkins is healthy and got a Sack too? That makes me happy.

For damn sure, love this guy and his explosiveness.

Don’t think I’ll be rushing to watch hard knocks this week.

This game is getting embarrassing, they are getting steam rolled. Backup QB for Chicago is making Caleb look like a freshman in high school.

damn can't they return a kick wthout a holding penalty

Winning makes believers of us all

They didn't win and we don't beleive

I’ve been banging this drum for 2+ years. Darrin Simmons is pathetic and needs to be gone. Like an hour ago.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

Loos like we are going 0-3 in preseason. That sure sets a precedent when the season starts. Since we are seen to start out 0-2, maybe we are getting the losses out of the way in preseason.

You guys shouldn't be taking a preseason game so seriously. No big deal. Backups don't matter.

I still remember when the Patriots went 0-4 in the Preseason got beat down every game and then went 17-0 in the regular season
and went to the Super Bowl.

We are not the Patriots of Tom Brandy days, and we are not going 17-0.  We will be lucky to go 10-7.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to seeing us winning and the Bears crying about it.  Time to delete that recording from the DVR .

Is this serious? Why so down from a preseason game?

When you pull the receiver down how can it not be blatant? Did you watch the play?

He got beat and pulled him down to avoid the tudd.

Not a good day for newton.

On the positive side, the punter had a nice punt inside the 10 and a nice boot out of the end zone across the 50.

Gotta say the bears have a ton of weapons. Their backup TE with two tudds and some sure-handed grabs. He looks solid.

Not a bad showing in the first half overall on defense considering the bengals played backups against starters. They are getting some good work in today and a great opportunity to learn and get better.

Woop de doo we got pressure if Williams doesnt end up on his arse it doesn’t matter.

What a terribly amateur take my friend.

We have struggled getting pressure from the front 4.  We unluckily knocked our own guys down on the scramble.
Coverage for 10 seconds is beyond excellent.

A 7 yard scramble is NOT an issue.

This was probably one of the most promising plays on defense this game, which had many.

Nice game, 2 int’s, fumble, give up 3 TD’s, 2 by backup. Yep, this team is ready for season to start.

The remote lies in our chances of winning.
