Yes, I like the KJ Henry pickup. Made the sack on Brissette that hurt his throwing arm as well and needed to add an End with our
other Clemson Edge in Murphy out for now.

We waived Trayveon Williams which is crazy to me. We only have 2 RB's now and Trayveon ran very well against the Colts.

Williams is a vested veteran. There are more puzzle pieces in play

We waived Trayveon Williams which is crazy to me. We only have 2 RB's now and Trayveon ran very well against the Colts.

Must be a RB in the works.

A team has to sign him via FA, not a waiver wire addition as you mentioned, he is vested.

Is a team going to cut one of their top 53 to add Williams? I say no and he is back on the roster soon.

Very happy about Henry.   Good pick up.

But I really wanted to get Perine.   He brings a lot of dimensions to the running game we don't have.

Since college game doesn't produce running fullbacks as in old school days.  Often NFL teams turn a TE into a blocking FB that can Power Run up the Gut and catch passes in the flat and attack the outside flanks as well.  A TE has the FB size needed.  TE's who can learn FB can be very helpful in 3rd and short and Goal Line Defense situations. If an NFL team wants a Czonka or Riggins or Otis or a Pete Johnson, college doesn't make them anymore, but some TE's have the heavyweight fighter size and ability to fill the bill.  Not all of the 5 TE's have to be TE's.  They should always be trying to turn one into a FB type. While I agree with you about more teams going with a TE in the H-Back role, as opposed to utilizing a traditional FB, there are a couple of good ones in the NFL. Have you ever heard of Kyle Juszczyk or Patrick Ricard? Those guys are both old school style FBs that can lay the wood, and in Juszczyk's case, be an offensive weapon.

Yes, they are still around and they can run the ball unlike a TE.

I do love seeing Drew Sample in the backfield as an H-Back in protection though I gotta say, but no one would expect to see the ball 
handed to him on a run. Dude is slow as molasses and to my knowledge has never ran the ball. I am with Sled and would be open to 
adding a battering ram Alstott type FB in the future because they can run the ball.

Sadly college doesn't turn out Fullbacks as they once did.  Not ones that can Block, Run and Catch anyway.  NFL teams either have to convert a college RB into an NFL FB, or a TE into a FB.  Heck, many college teams go empty backfield so much, it's amazing they still turn out running backs. It is the era of the running quarterback, however that is a good way to get a high priced NFL QB career injured. I hate seeing Burrow after all his injuries, getting pushed by Bengals into a rugby scrum by his team mates.  I think Burrows main job is to throw the ball, not be a fullback up the middle.  I always fear Burrow is one more injury away from being career injured like Greg Cook. I'm not a fan of always Burrow scrum on short yardage against NFL Defense Monsters.  I think Burrow is elusive in the pocket, but not a true running quarterback.  Burrows strength is The Hurry Up Offense at LSU and finding open receivers as he wears out defenses still trying to catch their breath from defensing his last pass. When Burrow is on fire passing and in a Hurry Up, that is his real strength, not running. This is why teams should fear him in a 2 minute drill.
