I'm worried Ravens will pu up over 40 by halftime
#41
The only way we win this one. The offense has to be firing on all cylinders right out of the gate! Big numbers, big yards, lots of points. We can't let them dictate the flow of the game and run it down our throat.

Win the turnover battle

We'll have a chance

Well you could look at it in a positive way and say at least not by the end of the first quarter!

Offense pretty much has to play mistake free.
No killer penalties
Not stalling out in the Red Zone
No mental mistakes (looking at you Gisecki running 10 yds backwards or not completing catches).

Hopefully the defense can nut up and get a couple stops. But thinking the offense is gonna have to score, score, score.

In all seriousness we have to dictate TOP on offense and keep Jackson/Henry on the sidelines. Thats the only thing that will stop them from putting up 40+ or they will with this Pee Wee Defense of ours.

Going into this week the Ravens were one of the worst teams in the league in passing defense and one of the best at run defense. I think we can go blow for blow with them in terms of scoring. I would actually look to deploy either a 5-2 or bear front when they go to their heavy personnel packages on early downs. The thing you have to remember about the Ravens this year is they have blown a couple games late. Lamar against the Bills kind of started it with his run and dive fumble when they were cruising against the Bills so they aren't this juggernaut but do give teams chances at times.

For some reason this one to me doesn't seem insurmountable. Offense needs to score 30 but I think they can win if they do.

So, just like we did vs the Commanders?

Less chance of CTB and Hill getting burned because about 90% of Lamar's passes are to RBs and TEs and about half of his targets to WRs are quick screens.

Looking at ADG, Pratt and Wilson to cover Likely, Andrews and the other non-WRs.

I see Hilton helping out on the TEs if he's healthy enough to play.

The run D, though . . .

They should throw a lot of Tee and Chase at 'em. Big time.  Right now, Baltimore has the 3rd worst pass D.

This what I was thinking, not the defense alignment part, I'll leave that to the experts. We are looking at the same team we face twice a year and have been successful against. Yesterday had to be a big confidence boost to us. I think we will put up a hell of a fight and when the dust settles, hopefully we will be leading. Anything can happen, I'm not gonna sit around worrying about something I can't control.

Well said. If anything Burrow should be able to shred these Ratbirds.

I'm so sick and disgusted about us giving up 3rd and 10 plus every freaking game. this should be fixable but it happens every game regardless of the offense

Vegas has the Ravens as 2.5 point favorites.

Buckle up buttercup, this is gonna be a close one!

I could easily see 52 to 17

Were definitely gona score but BAltimote has the best defense we’ve seen so far so i don’t think the offense daves us today

Maybe..but this current defense of ours is the worst I have seen in decades..wonders what is going on...maybe some injuries we are not aware of

Funny they pretended they were going to be a passing offense with a franchise QB and passed 37.5 times per game.... and lost both games.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41197944/harbaugh-not-ravens-plan-henry-get-30-carries-game

Then they went back to who they are, throw the ball 16.5 times per game for well under 200 yards, and run it 39.5 times per game... and win both games.

Chiefs are a better defense than Baltimore, crazy stat, coming into week 4, bengals were giving up less yards than Ravens, we had given up 9 TDS, but Ravens 8 TDS... and Ravens were last in passing defense... yes they played a solid game against Bills, but they after 4 games, I don't see them as good as they have been in the past...
