A stud RB fixes a bunch of problems
Every other team in our division has a good RB but us. Henry Chubb Harris I would feel better with either Steeler or Brown backups over what we have. It's not like this problem is super expensive to fix in FA either. I know I'm in the minority but I havent seen awful play in the Oline for the most part. Mims and Brown are absolute maulers it's just like the Cowboys we didnt put any value in the RB position and we are presently paying the price for it. The irony is both are stupid enough to think they dont need an actual GM

We’re jealous of Najee Harris now? Chase Brown currently has a higher AVG and twice as many TD’s.

Don't we say that exact same thing Every Single Year?

It is the interior o-line and running scheme more so than the running back.

The Bengals are rolling with sub-average interior o-line play across the board who only seem palatable due to the terrible players who were there in previous years. They need to invest in strong, explosive guards and a center if the running game is to take off and Burrow have a pocket he can reliably step up into and be protected. It is not sexy, but it needs to get done to rebirth the running game and extend Burrow's career.

The Interior OL free agents were massive signings at the time because the Bengals line was just bad but now all 3 are entering the final years of their deal in 2025.

Would really like to see them get someone with a little edge in the rush offense to maybe lead by example. The Bengals invested in the pass protection because they were a shotgun pass heavy team but they don't have a single "glass eater" on the roster. An OL that just wants to drive a guy and dump him.

Three guys in FA to look at all with some kinda "baggage"

Trey Smith - Price tag will be close to 20 to 22m aav.
James Daniels - Tore Achilles early Oct will likely be ready for 2025 but maybe not 100% by week 1.
Teven Jenkins - Battles minor injuries most seasons. Only played 700+ snaps once in his career.

Logan Jones is a guy that wakes up every day looking forward to seeing how many times he can put the guy across from him on the ground. Wouldn't surprise me one bit to find out he was a Championship Wrestler in HS, either. (he just looks like he has that sort of body control)

Track actually Discus and Shotput Iowa State Champion. Logan Jones also made Feldman's freak list.

discus. He vertical-jumped 36.6 inches this year. Many of Jones’ other freaky testing numbers came before this year as
he had leg surgery in January and wasn’t cleared until after the spring. In 2023, he squatted 695 pounds — a Hawkeyes
record — and did the program’s second-heaviest hang clean at 470 pounds. He clocked a 1.53 10-yard split, which is an
Iowa offensive line record, and in 2022 ran a 4.09 pro agility time. That 20-yard shuttle time is .05 faster than the best
time an offensive lineman has posted at the combine. (In 2011, Cincinnati’s Jason Kelce did 4.14.) – Bruce Feldman, The Athletic

poor things

Frank B i always enjoy your thoughts and most times agree

Mike Browns Dad was a football man and chose Bob Johnson Center Tenn w/ the Bengals #1 pick ever.....#2 overall in 1968

he believed in building an Offensive Line that could run and pass block for any QB & RB combo.......build strong from the middle

Sadly the apple that wasnt supposed to fall far from the tree rotted.

I don't think Mixon was great or even good last year, but, as it's been made clear, by no stat or metric could you call 2023 Moss good in comparison to 2023 Mixon. Once again, I comprehend the comment, the example that you used to highlight your point is just incorrect and you're too stubborn to admit that or you're too dumb to comprehend that.

You are too ignorant to debate.  I mentioned the areas that Moss was better in 2023, after your first nonsensical response. The problem is the offense. The scheme, the blocking, the play calls.  Your incessant need to compare Mixon and Moss is childish.  Like I said, move along and argue someone else's comment you do not understand.  I fear that I have reached the point of having zero respect for anything you say moving forward.

Not really, Sam was a 3rd down back rushing vs many 3rd down dime defenses.  He also was a true single gap runner not tasked with wide zone play calls.  In truth Mixon is a power gap rusher as well, but so many of his attempts were wide zone resulting in him looking like he was dancing behind the LOS.

Joe Mixon is a stud right now in Houston. He was terrible when he was here. Do the math

A stud O-Line fixing everything. They got talent on the line, but I think the O-Line coach is bad. They have to do better drafting O-linemen.

Nice, both events that require an incredible amount of balance and body control.

Are there any RB's available?

Chase Brown played pretty damn great and got my game ball vote but this is a concern going into Baltimore for sure....

Not worried for the usage: he has little wear on the treads since he came into the league, 1 game of heavy usage won't kill him.

Well we won't know till Thursday. sometimes a player is more resilient when their body is used to it, he might struggle bouncing back on a short week

While ultimately that is true, the odds are not in favour of him not bouncing back.

The Line played incredible maybe the best performance of a offensive line since Zac has been the head coach, Even Cody Ford looked like a quality offfensive lineman..

Not to diminish what Cody Ford's performance but wanted to mention the 2023 Edge class. Cody Ford shut down Tyree Wilson (2023 7th overall pick). I had Wilson and Myles Murphy as similar prospects coming out.

Murphy had a couple pressures yesterday one a QB hit.

Edit: Wrong clip lol.
