Thanksgiving Special - Calling my shot

Bengals run the table, in somewhat convincing fashion.

Bengals 27, Steelers 24
Bengals 31, Cowboys 16
Bengals 24, Titans 17
Bengals 31, Browns 20
Bengals 24, Broncos 20
Bengals 24, Steelers 13

Call me a home, call me whatever…

Bengals averaging 27 PPG YTD, this is on par at 26.8 PPG.

Defense is another story, this is 18.3 PPG, after giving up 26.9 PPG. The teams they play are averaging 20.5 PPG. The toughest offense they play is the Steelers, twice.

We will see, and I’m going to get criticized by many… but I’m calling this now.

LOVE the optimism! We just need the defense to step up and to stop shooting ourselves in the foot!

The biggest question I have is can that get us into the playoffs without a million things working out in our favor?

You Cape Cod, I dig the toxic positivity. Wouldn't be the first time i9n recent history we when on an end of season winning Streak. Conversely the Steelers Schedule is brutal:
Cincy x2
Cleveland
Philly
Balt
KC

Bengals run off 4 straight only to get knocked off by the Broncos in Week 16 by a missed XP by McPherson, thus confirming history just repeats itself.

My man...

Personally don't see it happening, but I admire your gumption.

I'll keep believing until we're mathematically eliminated. Even if that happens I'll still watch every down of every game remaining. I get being disappointed with the way the season has gone but I'll never understand the constant negativity all week long.  24-48 hours after a tough lose, I get it, but life goes on and football shouldn't be such a mood influencer all week.

BTW where's Sled? He's keeping the faith.

Yah never know...

I like the positivity a ton. Would love it if we swept the stealers and stains. Cherry on top if we won out and got a Wild Card berth.

Yes... I agree; life goes on and there are much more important things in life. My time isn't all my own though, so I've chosen to not watch at times this year, and I did the same during some of Browning's starts. Time with kids and loved ones is important. Having said that, I don't think there is a ton of negativity around here. Some are over the top and hyperbolic, but most are just giving their assessment. Those assessments are pretty accurate when you have 2 or 3 guys playing at a very high level (including the most important position on the field), and a good 2/3 of the team outright suck. And you're correct to call it faith because there is literally no evidence that this is anything more than a bad to mediocre team. Going on a run is in the realm of possibilities, but they've given us zero evidence they have it in em.

Hell, I'm so positive I still think our winning streak starts last week against the Chargers!

We will see, it’s not unheard of for a team to get hot at the right time. This team just also happens to have three of the best players at their positions.

Hoping to see you become prophetic and all of this come to fruition.

Believe it is very possible the way Burrow is playing and the schedule being front loaded and getting easier towards the end as well.

Yet this Money Mac mental problem has me concerned more so than the defense actually. But Im still all in until the end, Who-Dey !

It defies explanation. The Bengals lose game on flukes and KC wins games on flukes. If I believed in any God other than Christ; I'd say there's a football God who overwatches KC.
