AJ Brown was traded for picks 18 and 101 then signed for 4 year $100 million contract. I would say this is the water mark for T. Read this as any rd 1 in the back half. 2 number two picks maybe.
I don’t have reasonable comp trade comps for Trey off the top of my head

In terms of Tee, more rumors this week at the combine is Tee isn't worth to a lot of teams what he wants so I think his new deal hurts his value. I think you are looking at maybe a mid to late 2nd and a future 4th or 5th.
I think the best value they will get for Tee would be #38 from the Patriots and maybe a 2026 day 3 pick.

I got told i was crazy yesterday cause most fans think we’re signing Tee OR Trey but i wanna be the 1st to say it……we ain’t extending EITHER.
If anyone really cares and want to know why i think this i will explain but to me it’s obvious we are moving on from both when their contact ends.
Seems a bit strange to me to start a thread on the topic and then go on like, "Well I'm not telling you why I think this way unless you ask me."

I think they extend Trey Hendrickson, maybe 2 more years. Why would they get rid of one of the few bright spots they have on defense? Trey should have a few good years left. As far as Tee Higgins, I'm up in the air. Joe Burrow wants him here but we all know Tee's injury history. The Higgins decision would be much easier if Burton would've had a good and productive rookie season. I think tagging Tee is a "no brainer". It gives you options.

There's a Patriots beat writer who certainly thinks (or at least desperately hopes) that the Pats are in the running to trade for Tee Higgins. They certainly have picks to work with, as they currently have 9 picks in this draft.

Its more likely that both of them are staying because their are no clear improvements in the draft or free agency over Tee or Trey!
With the Cap going up drastically that means teams are going to be willing to sign their top guys and not let them hit free agency.

Andrew Whitworth says hello! I would love to see Tee in stripes, but he's replaceable imo.
Not getting Trey back in the fold on a terrible defense that had one shining star, Trey, would be a serious hold my beer moment for the FO. He's last season's NFL sack leader ffs, and he doesn't seem to be slowing down any!

Literally, the report was the Patriots aren't interested and are looking to spend the money on O line now after seeing his price.

so making the worst part of our defense even worse, makes little sense but it seems maybe the loyalty to Burrow is going to hurt the defense even more.

Outliers are cool, but you usually play to the statistical likely outcomes. There was just a bunch of data on pass rushers that kind of shows this massive drop, almost similar to HB's, after age 30. Everyone was referencing it when talking about Myles Garrett but it applies to Trey as well.
Like Vonn Miller had 14 sacks as a 29 year old then has never had 10 sacks ever again. Khalil Mack had 9 sacks at 29 and has only had that many 1 time in the four season since (That said it was like 17 he went nuts). Going back to JJ Watt, he had 16 sacks at 29 then only broke 5 sacks 1 time in the next four seasons. These are just some examples but they looked at all pass rushers and their production basically from 30 onward and it's a STEEP drop. Some of this is obviously tied to injuries, but that was another point is that the rate of injuries sky rockets at 30.

Data doesn't lie and as someone who is in their early 30's the health issues start cropping up. Not that I have world class nutrition and money to throw around
I think we should move on from Trey if he's looking to make serious bank.

Tag & trade Trey after next season, tag & trade Tee asap. I honestly don't think they'll get any trade offers for Tee, he wants too much. Trey is at that bad age. Let him play out his contract & if he has 15 sacks next year tag him.

I just read that same report and was coming here to mention it. For weeks that Patriots beat writer had been teasing about Patriots still in the running for Higgins, now suddenly they're going another direction.

I'm not sure the numbers we're seeing are what Tee is asking. I could be wrong, but it's what they're projecting his value to be should he hit the open market.

Didn't see that. That would leave the Raiders maybe at #37. Then maybe the Chargers at #55 but I don't think Harbaugh wants to spend that much on a receiver. Carolina at #57. Options dry up fast.

I always value your opinion, but I think you are underestimating Tee's value. There are a lot of WR needy teams for a #1WR. The draft has none better than Tee so teams either look to FA or a trade. In FA, I don't see another #1WR. Tee demand is high and competition (supply) is extremely low. The following are #1 WR needy teams, many are picking in the top 10: if Adams is cut, he is a #1, but up in age.
Titans
Browns (I don't see Jeudy as a true #1)
Pats
Jags
Raiders
Jets (I think Adams becomes a FA)
Panthers
Bears
Colts
Bucs (can Evans put up top WR numbers forever)
Broncos
Chargers (McConkey a great #2)
Packers
Bills
My hunch is Higgins can yield a #1 pick in 2025 and a 4th and also a 3rd in 2026.
I may be overstating his value, but I think he definitely at only 25 years old gets a #1 for us if we trade him in 2025. Pats, Jags, Raiders also have a ton of cap room so they can absorb a huge contract for Tee.
Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

This could be because Bengal's price is high. I may be wrong, but i think Bengals will ask and get a 1st round pick for Tee if the decide to trade him. I count 14 potential suiters for Tee Higgins, that is a ton of WR needy teams in. year when not 1 sure fire #1 WR in the 2025 draft and a weak FA #1 WR pool as well.
