Things have moved quickly today maybe it's announced before my bed time tonight.
Cap didn't say that, the post was made after a guy who's wife brokered Trey's new house purchase in the Cincinnati area (he was commenting during Strawberry Ice's show yesterday) and he said, "the source has no reason to make it up and it is eerily odd how specific the details are," and also added, "if I tweeted prematurely or am wrong, I will take all the shit that will be flung at me."
The guy is Bengals Rick or Slick Rick or something like that.

We didn't even know who Burk was prior to signing him and now he's better than the only other big game playmaker we have on D outside of Trey....

They already need a Safety to replace Bell. I don't see them drafting 2 starting Safeties this year.

Yep. Yet we keep hearing in other threads about the amazing Bengals team culture that Zac created.
The culture wasn't good last year. Contract issues. There was supposedly stuff going on with the defense. Guys wanting traded. Maybe Zac didn't create any of that. But, the great culture thing is largely a myth.

He was Trey's replacement in waiting. He ain't the guy. Same goes with Dax and Bates. Thankfully he's at least versatile. BPA builds strong rosters. Drafting for need created the 2023 - 2024 Bengals.
Generally the good drafting teams go BPA. Ravens do it constantly. Chiefs largely do it.

The press conference has been moved to 330.
The Bengals press room is being remodeled so they have been using a small conference room I wonder if they needed to move to a larger space leading to a time change

Culture isn't a myth and it's not static. It will take a hit from time to time and some of that can be due to decisions the FO makes.
I don't give Zac a ton of credit most times but i do give him some credit for how he's helped build this team and how he runs it.

I did not watch much college ball, but I thought Emmanwori was a SS. He is like 230, yes? Do I have that wrong?
He is big, but he is fast and can cover with a lot of range. I think he could play FS for us.
As we know, Jordan Battle is strictly a SS.

Thanks for this, didn't know Hernandez was coming off an ACL tear. Makes sense why we haven't signed him then.

He consistently performs at a high level when balling. He's intrinsically motivated to maximize his talent and mostly experiences success. If ownership, the front office, the coaches, and all players were Burrow-like, we'd be rooting for a team entering dynasty territory. We'd be NFL Super Bowl winning royalty like the Steelers, Patriots, 49'ers, Cowboys, etc.
If the hot seat is just about the pressure to win then I'm comfortable Burrow holds himself accountable to perform at the highest level.
Nice post Tecmo, completely agree buddy.

The Bengals gave him a shot at being a 3 down guy, but his tackling was noticeably less than what we had come to expect from him. Sure, he made a TON of tackles, but many of which were way further down field than his first contact.
Evidently Germaine cares other wise he wouldn't of asked to be traded...

All is great as long as the plan works. If it doesn't. The "I told you so" card is in the hands of the FO. How will fans react?
Question?
Does that put pressure on Burrow?
There are no excuses for slow starts when the QB gets everything he asked for
But if this doesnt work out its on who set up the contracts

Probably going to be Battle and Stone as starters. They'll probably only either sign a backup vet after the draft or a draft a late pick backup.

How to say Cincinnati is boring without saying it....According to Ja'Marr, playing and living in Cincinnati allows him to concentrate on football without outside distractions.
Tee is celebrating by getting a fishtank in his wall. Oh and a glass of champagne and a cigar too

As he noted, the, "classy," way to go about it lol.
Ja'Marr also could have meant that he has no friends, family or anything here, so he can focus just on himself and football, whereas back in LA, he probably has a ton of things to do and people to see.
